Rise From The Fire Foundation

Helping Women Escape Abuse.
Building Lives Beyond Survival.

Rise From The Fire Foundation supports women and their children affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking, coercive control, exploitation, and other forms of abuse that prevent women from living safe, healthy, independent lives.

We help women who are currently in danger, preparing to leave, or rebuilding after abuse — through compassionate support, resource coordination, Safe Homes, long-term housing solutions, employment opportunities, community partnerships, and pathways toward lasting independence.

What we believe

We Believe Every Woman Deserves More Than Survival

We believe every woman deserves the opportunity not only to survive abuse — but to heal, grow, thrive, lead, and build the life she deserves.

Safety is the beginning of the journey, not the destination.

Our mission is to help women rebuild every area of life, including housing, employment, education, physical health, mental health, financial independence, parenting support, community, and purpose.

Your path forward

What Happens Next

No pressure. No judgment. Just people ready to help you take the next step.

  1. Step 1

    Reach Out

Call, text, submit a secure form, or contact us in whichever way feels safest.

  2. Step 2

    We Listen

We'll understand your situation, your immediate needs, and what feels safest for you.

  3. Step 3

    Build Your Safety Plan

Together we'll create a plan that fits your circumstances—whether that means leaving immediately or preparing for the future.

  4. Step 4

    Connect You to Support

Depending on your needs, we can help coordinate emergency housing, advocacy, childcare, transportation, legal resources, financial assistance, employment support, or other community services.

  5. Step 5

    Begin Rebuilding

As the immediate crisis passes, we'll help you focus on stability through housing, employment, education, financial independence, and long-term support.

  6. Step 6

    Build Your Future

Our goal isn't simply helping you escape abuse—it's helping you build a safe, independent life with confidence and hope.

Every journey is different.

You never have to do everything at once. Whether you need immediate help tonight or you're quietly planning for the future, we'll meet you where you are.

  • Safe

A door that locks. A bed that's yours.

  • Private

    Nothing shared without your consent.

  • Steady

Support that stays, long after crisis.

More Than Crisis Response

One mission. Lifelong support.

We don't believe healing ends when someone leaves an abusive situation. Our programs are designed to help survivors rebuild every part of life.

Every program exists for one purpose:
To help survivors build lives they never have to escape from again.

Our Vision for the Future

Our vision extends far beyond emergency assistance.

We hope to build beautiful campuses across the country that redefine what survivor support can look like.

Instead of hidden shelters, we envision welcoming, secure campuses that feel like communities of hope, opportunity, dignity, and healing.

These campuses would be designed to help women and children rebuild their lives while surrounded by safety, education, meaningful work, and lasting community.

Ways to Stand With Survivors

Why Rise From The Fire Exists

A promise, kept.

Gabrielle Wolphe, Founder & CEO of Rise From The Fire Foundation

I asked for help. I wasn't believed.

When I reported my abuse, I wasn't met with safety. I was ignored, ridiculed, and punished for speaking up.

I made a promise to myself that if I ever survived, I would build the kind of organization I desperately needed.

That promise became Rise From the Fire Foundation.

We are here so that every woman, every child, and every survivor knows they are heard, believed, protected, and loved. Because asking for help should never make someone feel more alone.

We're Not Just Helping Women Escape Abuse.
We're Helping Them Build Extraordinary Lives.

Join us in creating a future where every woman has the opportunity to rise beyond survival.
