Our Vision
A world where no one has to wonder where to go.
We envision a world where no woman or child has to wonder where to go when violence enters their life.
A world where healthy relationships are taught from childhood, communities recognize abuse before it escalates, and survivors are met with compassion, dignity, and unwavering support instead of fear, judgment, or disbelief.
Rise From The Fire Foundation exists to transform the way society responds to domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual violence, and exploitation — not only by helping survivors escape, but by helping them rebuild lives they never have to escape from again.
We are building more than shelters. We are building safe homes.
Beautiful places that restore dignity. Communities where women and children feel protected, valued, and empowered. Homes filled with warmth, laughter, opportunity, and hope.
Our long-term vision is to establish Hopeful Home Campuses across the country and eventually around the world — landmarks of healing that are impossible to overlook.
These secure and welcoming campuses may include homes, schools, childcare centers, medical and mental-health services, farms, gyms, salons, art and recording studios, business incubators, classrooms, and spaces where women and children can heal, learn, create, and dream again.
Every survivor should have the opportunity to receive an individualized Rise Plan and support from a Rise Companion who walks beside her throughout the rebuilding journey.
Our goal is not simply survival. Our goal is safety, stability, independence, transformation, leadership, and the interruption of generational cycles of violence.
We are equally committed to prevention.
Through education, advocacy, healthy-relationship instruction, community partnerships, media, and survivor-centered reform, we aim to reduce the number of people who ever need emergency services.

Our Story
Why We Exist
Rise From The Fire Foundation was founded by Gabrielle Wolphe, who saw the gap between crisis response and long-term recovery—and refused to accept it.
After experiencing firsthand how terrifying it can be when an abusive partner has ties to law enforcement or other positions of authority, Gabrielle witnessed how difficult it can be for survivors to be believed, protected, or safely escape. She also saw how many victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual violence, and exploitation fall through the cracks—not because they lack courage, but because the systems around them often respond only after the danger has already escalated.
As Founder & CEO, Gabrielle is building a survivor-centered organization grounded in dignity, safety, accountability, and long-term transformation. Every decision begins with one belief:
Every person deserves to be heard, protected, and given the opportunity to rebuild a life they never have to escape from again.
Rise From The Fire Foundation was never created simply to provide emergency shelter.
It was created to change the conditions that allow abuse to continue.
We believe prevention is just as important as intervention.
Our mission extends beyond helping survivors escape violence—we are working to reduce the number of people who ever need to escape in the first place.
